The sales by type of advertising for newspaper publishers, according to North American Industry Classification System code 51311, consist of total advertising sales, and these are made up of daily newspapers advertising sales, which include national advertising (print) - daily newspapers, local advertising (print) - daily newspapers, classified advertising (print) - daily newspapers, and digital advertising - daily newspapers; and general and specialized community newspapers advertising sales, which include national advertising (print) - general and specialized community newspapers, local advertising (print) - general and specialized community newspapers, classified advertising (print) - general and specialized community newspapers, and digital advertising - general and specialized community newspapers.
