135 locations from Killarney to Honey Harbour were surveyed between 2003 and 2005 (3 times a year representing spring, summer and fall conditions) across a spectrum of environments along the eastern coast of Georgian Bay. The purposes include to: * identify the range of natural variability in water quality conditions in the coastal areas * better understand the interactions between the watershed and the open waters of Georgian Bay on water quality * provide insight on the human effects on water quality This information is used to establish a baseline to which future water quality conditions can be compared and to identify the factor(s) responsible for variable water quality conditions.
