This dataset covers the purchases and sales of halocarbons in Quebec since 1993. This data is used to produce the Report on the purchases and sales of halocarbons in Quebec annually. The halocarbons declared for sale are chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), halons, saturated hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs), saturated hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), unsaturated hydrofluorocarbons (HFOs), and per fluorocarbons (PFCs) as well as the mixtures sold of these. Sales data come from Quebec halocarbon importers, wholesalers and distributors. Under the Halocarbon Regulations, they must report purchases and sales of halocarbons annually.
Data are presented in tons, tons of CO2 equivalent, and tons of CFC-11 equivalent.
