This register allows citizens to find businesses that hold a valid annual permit that gives them the right to operate, under certain conditions, on the territory of the City.
Adopted on September 27, 2021, the new By-law on the sale and use of pesticides (21-041) of the City of Montreal came into force on January 1, 2022. According to this new regulation, any commercial applicator must first obtain an annual permit in order to be able to use a pesticide, whether it is a biopesticide or a synthetic pesticide.
Thus, any person or organization who wishes to do business with a commercial applicator on the territory of the City must ensure that the company is in good standing with respect to its municipal license. This public register, updated continuously, lists the businesses authorized by the City to operate on its territory during the current year.
