Section 48 of the Official Languages Act (OLA) requires the President of the Treasury Board to submit an annual report to Parliament. Additionally, the Act requires the Treasury Board to monitor the status of the Official Languages Program.
The purpose of the Official Languages Information System II (OLIS II) is to meet the Treasury Board’s information needs on the status of the Official Languages Program in institutions/organizations subject to the OLA but for whom the Treasury Board does not represent the employer.
