Statistics from the Quebec Land Registry on the real estate market

The dataset shows the compilation of the number of sales by price range, property transfers, mortgages and acts of financial difficulty registered in the Quebec Land Register. The information is for all of Quebec as well as by administrative region.

In Quebec, real estate rights are published as a result of registration in the Land Register. It is governed in particular by the Civil Code of Quebec and by the Regulation respecting land registration. As an authentic legal register created by the legislator, the Quebec Land Register is the official, complete and reliable source of data on the real estate market.
