Introduction to cloud computing

Cloud computing is the on-demand delivery of IT resources over the Internet. Think of it as a network of companies that sell computing power, which customers can access online.

With cloud computing, users can access technology services, such as computing power and storage, as needed from a cloud service provider (CSP). This reduces the need for organizations to own and maintain physical servers and data centres.
