This brochure sets out the connections between Canada, China, and the World Trade Organization (WTO). It provides statistical data on Canada's trading relationship with China and lists China's commitments on becoming a member of the WTO in December 2001. The brochure also details how China's new WTO commitments will benefit Canadian export sectors, such as the automotive, telecommunications, plastics, environment, financial services, and cultural products sectors.
