West Coast Fisheries

Contained within the 3rd Edition (1957) of the Atlas of Canada is a plate showing general distribution in eight condensed maps of the certain species of West Coast fish, mollusks, crustaceans, and indicates the areas of greatest catches and amounts taken for most species. These maps are based largely on statistics for landings of fish in 1952. The recorded ranges indicate where the various species are generally distributed.
