Literature Review: Systemic barriers to the full socio-economic participation of persons with disabilities and the benefits realized when such persons are included in the workplace December 2020

In collaboration with the Accessibility Office, the Policy Research Group (PRG), Canadian Heritage completed a literature review in December 2020. The purpose was to capture the research and data on the kinds of systematic barriers persons with disabilities face in the workplace and the benefits of hiring persons with disabilities. The ultimate goal is to educate the workforce on how to eliminate barriers and to foster a more inclusive workforce for persons with disabilities.
