Contained within the Atlas of Canada's Reference Map Series, 1961 to 2010, is a map showing national, provincial and territorial boundaries. The set o places use only one type of townstamp (except that capital cities have their own symbols), but the type style indicates three sizes of populated place. Roads are shown in two classes: the Trans-Canada Highway, and all other roads. Ferries and railways are also shown. Water features shown consist of rivers and lakes and the extent of permanent polar ice. There is limited data shown for foreign areas. Data is as of the early 1980s (with the 1981 Census being the basis of population data).
