BC Employment and Assistance Program by Municipality

The Ministry reports the breakdown of the BC Employment and Assistance program each month by the 75 municipalities with the highest income assistance caseloads. This data is from 1995 onwards and includes counts for cases, recipients and dependent children. Each month the top 75 municipalities are determined based on the total income assistance caseloads over the last 24 months. Those top 75 municipalities are then provided over the entire timeseries – from 1995 to most recent.
