The 2023 Student Experience Survey (SES) was administered by the Office of the Chief Human Resources Officer, Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat. The 2023 SES measured student employees’ opinions about recruitment and onboarding, workplace experience, future employment in the federal public service and workplace well-being.
The 2023 SES was conducted from July 31 to September 15, 2023. A total of 5,471 students in 76 federal departments and agencies responded to the 2023 SES.
The 2023 SES dataset contains the results of the survey by year (2023,2022, 2021, 2020 and 2019) for the Public Service and departments/agencies, and the results broken down by demographic characteristics (e.g., age, gender). Results for 2022, 2021, 2020 and 2019 are only provided for questions repeated in the 2023 SES.
