A summary of staff and client experiences with the Black Social History pilot in the Ontario region

Black individuals are overrepresented in the Canadian criminal justice system in Ontario. o help address this overrepresentation, and to help improve community outcomes for Black individuals under community supervision, a group of CSC staff from the Ontario Region developed the Black Offender Social History (BSH) pilot. The purpose of the current study was to examine the experiences of staff and Black clients with the BSH pilot in the Ontario Region.
