National Defence Program Alignment Architecture (PAA)

Having a robust Program Alignment Architecture (PAA) is a fundamental part of the Canadian Government’s policy on Management, Resources, and Results Structures (MRRS). This policy reinforces the government’s commitment to continually strengthen its management and accountability of public expenditures by providing a robust framework by which to link the use of resources to the achievement of results. The PAA for the Department of National Defence came into effect in April 2014. The PAA has since been replaced by the Department Results Framework(DRF) dataset (Ref: OD-2021-00004). The link to the new dataset can be found in the "homepage" section of this dataset.
