Regina Indoor Air Quality Study Metals ICPMS Dataset

As part of a residential indoor air quality study, Health Canada and Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region collected indoor and outdoor exposure samples for metals component of fine particulate matter (PM2.5). For the Regina Indoor Air Quality Study (RIAQS), a total of 146 homes in Regina, Saskatchewan, participated in one or both of two 10-week sampling sessions in the winter and summer of 2007. This dataset presents summary 5-day metals results analyzed through ICP-MS and statistics obtained from the study and is intended to provide relevant Canadian information on exposure to metals found indoors and outdoors. In addition, due to the different metals produced by environmental tobacco smoke, the metals results are presented separately for homes with and without smokers. The dataset does not provide any interpretation or detailed analysis of the data or trends (e.g., comparing seasons, indoor/outdoor concentrations).
