Novel Food Information - Glabrous canary seed (Phalaris canariensis L.)

Health Canada has notified the Canary Seed Development Commission of Saskatchewan (CDCS) that it has no objection to the sale of glabrous (hairless) hull varieties of brown and yellow coloured canary seed (Phalaris canariensis L.) as cereal grain for human consumption.
