Health impacts of air pollution in Canada in 2018

Air pollution is a major contributor to the development of disease and premature death. It also represents the largest environmental risk factor to human health (WHO 2016). Exposure to air pollution increases the risk of dying prematurely from heart disease, stroke and lung cancer.
