A multilateral fisheries instrument concerning the prohibition of large‑scale driftnet fishing in the South Pacific. Protocol II to the Convention strengthens regional measures aimed at eliminating the use of long driftnets, supporting marine conservation efforts and promoting sustainable fisheries management among participating states.
