Novel food information: Herbicide Tolerant HT4 Maize – MON 87429

Health Canada has notified Bayer CropScience Inc. that it has no objection to the food use of herbicide tolerant HT4 maize – MON 87429. The Department conducted a comprehensive assessment of this maize variety according to its Guidelines for the Safety Assessment of Novel Foods.
