The first Annual Report of the Adjudication and Conflict Management Office (ACMO) highlights its core activities: independent review of passport service revocations or suspensions, and planning for the creation of the Office of the Public Ombudsman. The report also notes progress in developing alternative dispute resolution mechanisms with suppliers, promoting procedures for internal disclosure of workplace wrongdoing, and consulting on privacy and access to information. Despite limited resources, the Office has laid the groundwork for future action and anticipates staffing increases to better serve clients, employees, and partners of the Passport Office.
