The MELCCFP publishes a register of information relating to convictions for offences under the following laws and regulations:
- An Act on certain measures to enforce environmental and dam safety laws (LMA);
- Environmental Quality Act (LQE);
- Pesticides Act (LP);
- Dam Safety Act (LSB);
- Endangered or Vulnerable Species Act (LEMV);
- Natural Heritage Conservation Act (LCPN);
- An Act to increase the number of zero-emission motor vehicles in Quebec in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and other pollutants (LVZE).
The Department of Justice informs the Ministry of guilty pleas that the Bureau of Offences and Fines receives and of decisions rendered by the courts in relation to statements of offence issued by the Director of Criminal and Penal Prosecutions. Violations of the above laws and their respective regulations may be detected in particular by employees of the Ministry, wildlife protection officers, road traffic controllers from the Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ) or police officers from the Sûté du Québec (SQ) or police officers from the Sûté du Québec (SQ).
