Automate the review of non-complex applications for Temporary Resident Visas and Work Permits made under the Canada-Ukraine Authorization for Emergency Travel (CUAET)

This project automates the processing of applications for some Temporary Resident Visas and Work Permits made under the Canada-Ukraine Authorization for Emergency Travel initiative (CUAET). The system automates positive eligibility determinations, recording of positive admissibility determinations, and approvals for some applications. The system does not refuse applications or recommend refusing applications, or make negative determinations. All refusals continue to be made by officers. Applications which are removed from the automation process due to the triggering of a rule may still be approved by officers. Automation will also be applied to administrative steps that do not require human intervention.

This page includes detailed results from the Algorithmic Impact Assessment (AIA) and the Peer Review Summary from the project to automate the review of non-complex applications for Temporary Resident Visas and Work Permits made under the Canada-Ukraine Authorization for Emergency Travel.
