This Tender notices dataset is archived and will no longer be updated. The new CanadaBuys tender notices, and CanadaBuys awards notices datasets are now available. The resource files associated with these two new datasets have been updated and expanded upon to be more in line with the information contained within the CanadaBuys online search functionality, SAP Ariba and the other relevant procurement systems for the Government of Canada.
Below is a list of the archived resources associated with this dataset:
(1) Archived, Procurement Data Dictionary (26 April 2023): Offers a description of each data field contained in the Tenders files. The XML file is meant to be used as a guide for understanding the various data elements.
(2) Archived, New Today (26 April 2023): Contains information on all new tender notices published to Buyandsell.gc.ca on 26 April 2023. This file is static and is no longer updated.
(3) Archived, Active (26 April 2023): Contains information on all active tender notices, including any amendments brought to a tender notice during its lifecycle, as of 26 April 2023. This file is static and is no longer updated.
(4) Archived, Expired (26 April 2023): Contains information on all expired tender notices, including any amendments brought to a tender notice during its lifecycle, as of 26 April 2023. This file is static and is no longer updated.
(5) Tender notices, filtered by goods and services categories: Archived, Construction (26 April 2023); Archived, Goods (26 April 2023); Archived, Services (26 April 2023); and Archived, Services Related to Goods (26 April 2023). The files contain information on active, expired, awarded and cancelled tender notices, including any amendments brought to a tender notice during its lifecycle, as of 26 April 2023. These files are static and are no longer updated.
(6) Archived, Awards (26 April 2023): Contains information on all award notices published as of 26 April 2023. Award notices are used to announce a contract awarded to a supplier as the result of a tender notice. This file is static and is no longer updated.
