Report on Fighting Against Forced Labour and Child Labour in Supply Chains Act: Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD)

The Act to enact the Fighting Against Forced Labour and Child Labour in Supply Chain Act came into force on January 1, 2024. The Act requires that the head of every government institution whose activities include production, purchasing or distributing goods in Canada, or elsewhere, must submit an annual report by completing an online questionnaire via the Public Safety Canada website. This report details steps the government institution has taken during its previous fiscal year to prevent and reduce the risk of forced labour or child labour in their supply chains.
