The Cyber Centre was established under the Communications Security Establishment on October 1, 2018. The Cyber Centre is the national authority on cyber security, and its creation united operational security experts from across the Government of Canada (GC). In line with the National Cyber Security Strategy, the launch of the Cyber Centre represents Canada’s unified approach to cyber security. The Cyber Centre provides advice and guidance to the GC and Canadian businesses to ensure the country’s security, stability, and prosperity."
