Sudbury VSP; Sud3d VSP; vertical seismic profile

Seismic reflection profiling has the potential to provide images of regional structures for mineral exploration in the crystalline crust and direct detection of large, massive sulfide orebodies. These methods are illustrated using an example from the Sudbury Basin, a rich mineral-producing region.
