Venture Capital Action Plan (VCAP) and Venture Capital Catalyst Initiative (VCCI): Data on Results and Impacts as of December 31, 2024

The following data, for the Venture Capital Action Plan (VCAP) and the Venture Capital Catalyst Initiative (VCCI 2017), as of December 31, 2024, is available:

Performance metrics – These tables contain information on investment activities and financial performance for VCAP and VCCI 2017 recipient funds.

Economic impact data – These tables include information on the economic impact of Canadian companies that have received investment by venture capital funds supported under VCAP and VCCI 2017.

Diversity, equity and inclusion metrics – These tables contain diversity, equity and inclusion metrics for the Venture Capital Catalyst Initiative 2017 (VCCI 2017). Metrics are based on voluntary, self-reported data received from VCCI 2017 recipients, underlying venture capital funds (of funds-of-funds recipients) and funds' portfolio companies using the Business Development Bank of Canada's DEI Reporting Template for Canadian General Partners (GPs).
