Waterton Lakes National Park (1973)

Contained within the National Parks, 1961 to 1994, Atlas of Canada series, is a map that shows Waterton Lakes park and a large part of adjacent Glacier National Park in the United States. The map is derived from topographic maps of both Canada and the United States, and, consequently shows contours (with a 100 foot interval). There are also many mountains shown with their names and elevations (in feet). The map shows glacier data, as well. The map was intended for park visitors, and so it shows a lot of facilities of use to them. One aspect of this is a large-scale inset of the park headquarters area at 1: 7 200. Data are current to about 1970.
