The inventory of emissions of main air contaminants (PCA) lists anthropogenic emissions of these contaminants into the atmosphere at the level of Quebec beginning in 1990. The Ministry of the Environment, the Fight against Climate Change, Wildlife and Parks produces this inventory to highlight the importance and evolution of emissions of air contaminants, which contribute to acid rain, smog and toxic pollution. This inventory includes:
- Volatile organic compounds (VOCs);
- Sulfur dioxide (SO2);
- Carbon monoxide (CO);
- Nitrogen oxides (NOx);
- Fine particles (PM2.5);
- Respirable particles (PM10);
- Total filterable particles (PM).
This dataset shows PCA emissions in Quebec from the most recent inventory, by sector, sub-sector and activity category by year since 1990. This inventory is available on this page:
