CFIA-Undeclared gluten in legume/pulse products - 2021-2022

​The main objective of this survey was to obtain baseline information regarding the presence and levels of undeclared gluten in legume/pulse products. Of the 261 samples tested, 10 samples were found to contain varying levels of undeclared gluten, ranging from 6.1ppm to 210 ppm. None of the products sampled in this survey were found to represent a health risk so no product recalls were performed.
