This data breaks down bull moose, cow moose, calf moose and total harvest numbers by: * wildlife management unit (WMU) * calendar year Harvest and active hunter numbers are estimates based on replies received from a sample of hunters and are therefore subject to statistical error. In addition to the values presented, from 2006-2017, an estimated annual average of approximately 160 calf moose were harvested across the province by approximately 6,400 active resident hunters who did not apply for an adult validation tag.
