This study aimed to evaluate the lethal and sublethal toxic effects of naphthenic acid fraction components (NAFC) from fresh, aged, and commercially available naphthenic acid (NA) mixtures. Each mixture was tested on the early life stages of the fathead minnow (Pimephales promelas) and the assessed endpoints were time-to-hatch, deformities, growth, survival, and embryonic heart rate.
All data are a part subject of a publication containing method details, full QA/QC, interpretation and conclusions. Citation: Marentette, J. R., Frank, R. A., Bartlett, A. J., Gillis, P.
