Prairie Provinces

Contained within the Atlas of Canada's Reference Map Series, 1961 to 2010, is a map of the Prairie Provinces. The map shows federal, provincial and territorial boundaries, boundaries of land districts, and boundaries for places of more than 50 000 inhabitants. The transportation content consists of roads (shown in four classes), ferries, and railways. Populated places are shown in one of five size classes. The map shows national parks and the larger provincial parks. There is also detailed coverage of glaciers and ice fields. Data are as of 1990.
