Manufacturing Centres

Contained within the 4th Edition (1974) of the Atlas of Canada is a map that shows census metropolitan areas and urban centres for which accompanying graphs are based. The graphs denote, by selected census metropolitan areas and urban centres, the labour force in manufacturing by industry as percentages for 1961. A textual table is also included and shows industries that have less than 2% of the local labour force in manufacturing (and, therefore, are not included in the aforementioned graphs).
