Regulatory Oversight Report on the Use of Nuclear Substances in Canada

The Regulatory Oversight Report (ROR) on the Use of Nuclear Substances in Canada provides an overview of CNSC’s regulatory oversight of the licensees possessing and using nuclear substances and prescribed equipment in the medical, industrial, academic and research, and commercial sectors. This includes licensees regulated by the Directorate of Nuclear Substance Regulation (DNSR) and waste nuclear substance licensees regulated by the Directorate of Nuclear Cycle and Facilities Regulation (DNCFR). The report includes information about licensees’ performance and provides specific data on compliance activities, enforcement actions, doses to workers and events. Certain data sets used in the drafting of the ROR are also included.
