This booklet is meant to help retirees consider their choices and prepare for potential difficulties if they choose to retire abroad. It explains what to consider in destinations, finances, medical advice, documents and travel arrangements, immigration, citizenship, taxation, health care and real estate. There is also information on seasonal retirement abroad, staying in touch and returning to Canada. Highlighted pointers deal with culture shock and questions to consider before retiring abroad.
