A comprehensive compilation of bilateral agreements between Canada and the Swiss Confederation across the areas of trade facilitation, taxation, justice, nuclear cooperation, culture, social protection, and air transport. This set includes a mutual recognition agreement on conformity assessment; an exchange of diplomatic letters under the multilateral tax assistance convention enabling the automatic exchange of financial account information; a protocol amending the 1975 air transport agreement; an extradition treaty; and two nuclear‑related instruments, including an exchange of notes and an exchange of letters with annex concerning non‑proliferation assurances for tritium and related equipment destined for use in the Euratom fusion programme. It also comprises an agreement on film and video relations with annex, a mutual legal assistance treaty in criminal matters, a mutual legal assistance agreement on the division of confiscated assets, a social security convention with protocol, and a taxation convention aimed at avoiding double taxation and preventing fiscal evasion with respect to income and capital.
