The 2024 Student Experience Survey (SES) was administered by the Office of the Chief Human Resources Officer, Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat. The 2024 SES measured student employees’ opinions about recruitment and onboarding, workplace experience, future employment in the federal public service and workplace well-being.
The 2024 SES was conducted from August 6 to September 13, 2024. A total of 4,649 students from 73 federal departments and agencies responded to the 2024 SES.
The 2024 SES dataset contains survey results by year (2024, 2023, 2022, 2021 and 2020) for the Public Service and departments/agencies, as well as results broken down by demographic characteristics (e.g., age, gender). Results for 2023, 2022, 2021, and 2020 are only provided for questions repeated in the 2024 SES.
