Federal Economic Development Agency for Northern Ontario 2025–26 Departmental Plan

Over the next year, FedNor will take strategic action to drive inclusive economic development and foster sustainable growth across Northern Ontario. Aligned with the Government of Canada's seven mandate priorities, the department will work to boost trade, build a more unified economy, support housing initiatives and attract skilled talent. FedNor will also collaborate with other federal and provincial partners to protect small and medium-sized enterprises and communities impacted by the recent tariffs and prevailing market uncertainties. Activities will focus on market expansion, adaptation, and product diversification.
